I offer individual therapy services for adults. My experience in psychotherapy helps clients navigate stress, anxiety, depression, and significant life changes. I work diligently to provide a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore and understand their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, so you can learn how to take control of your life and respond to challenging life experiences with healthy coping skills.

Trauma Treatment

Trauma is the physical and emotional reaction to an injury. In terms of psychotherapy these injuries take many forms such as mental, sexual and physical abuse, combat, natural disasters, and significant loss to name a few. These reactions can continue long after the injury was inflicted and can have symptoms of anxiety, depression, flashbacks, sleep disturbance and many others. I provide a space to address and deal with the emotional responses cause by these traumatic events so that you can move forward. 

Grief Counseling

Dealing with feelings of loss, trauma, grief and trying to make sense of it, can be both mentally and physically painful. Grief comes in many forms and each persons experience is deeply personal. I will be there to help you understand and eventually move through your grief so that it is not overwhelming or interfering in your ability to find joy in life again.

Together, we will explore what’s contributing to your low mood or stress and learn how your thoughts and habits might be affecting how you feel. I can teach helpful strategies for challenging negative thinking and encourage you to gradually get back into activities you once enjoyed, even if it’s just a little at a time. I can also help you improve your relationships and communication with others, which can make a big difference when you’re feeling down and stressed.
